How it all started in 2010.

2010 is a very spectacular year for me, as it marks the beginning of my travel escapades. <Don’t worry I would be posting them anytime next week.> It all started on the white fine sands of Capones Island, Pundaquit, Zambales where I must say is my first time to hit upon a white sand beach. I still have the white sand euphoria when Northern Ilocos Adventure came in the next weekend courtesy of my beloved sister. And who would ever imagine after visiting these two beautiful places another wonderful place would invite me and fit into my schedule. The third weekend we had our team building exercise on the pristine shores of Canyon Cove in Nasugbu Batangas.

Not only that, 2010 also became my birth year in the corporate jungle of Makati. It’s a lot different than the previous years especially when it comes to financial stability. In connection to that, I got to experience a little above middle class cafe and enjoy fine dining restaurant. In which I thank my officemates who constantly drag me. Oh well, we had our lunch in Burgoo, Saisaki, North Park, Amichi and ate dinner in Fridays, Pizza Aveneto, Ravioli and so on and so forth. The list is totally endless and believe me some of them are free.

Now lets go back to travel, well after more than a decade of my last outside the country trip I had the chance to visit the most unforgettable and stupendous Singapore back in August. My Singapore Get Away didn’t only give me that hunger for foreign land experience but also that itch to book promo fares online. Since then, I never stop sneaking through low cost carrier websites for unbelievable cheap air fares.

After religiously checking online here comes 2011 Flights.

February 25 – March 1 : Hongkong (Macau) Birthday Celebration.
July 28 – July 31 Boracay
August 26 – 28  Tagbilaran Bohol
September 2 – 4: Iloilo
September 23: Davao
October 28: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
October 29: Siem Reap Cambodia
October 30: Bangkok, Thailand.

Cool right!? Yep, Maybe you’d start asking me, how will I be able to cover all those travel expenses. First thing first. Grab promo fare!  Like I said awhile ago, fares can really go crazy in as much as Php1.00 the so called Piso fare for both local and international flights. Anyways, I’ve heard a lot of complaining that the promos are a big bogus since they can’t even book a single flight. Well, Just give me some time and I’ll post here the tips and secrets to catch and book it successfully.

That’s it for now, next post I’ll promise to feature my Capones, Pundaquit, Zambales pictures.

So what’s your 2011 plan?
